Motivational Interviewing Therapy (MIT)

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is person-centered and goal-oriented collaborative counseling approach which help client's strengthen their commitment and motivation for lasting positive life change by examining the reasons for or against change. This can be especially helpful with individuals who are unsure about making changes, it assists clients in discovering and exploring the pros and cons of unexamined behaviors.

Narrative Therapy (NT)

Narrative Therapy is a synergetic way that sees individuals as separate from their issues. It functions on the idea that a person is the expert in one's own life and that the narratives one tells about themselves shapes one's identity. Counselor therapists work with clients to assist in "deconstructing or reauthorizing" the stories in order to refocus on personal strengths which helps to generate new an positive meaning to the client's life experiences.

Person-Centered Therapy (PCT)

Person-centered therapy is a humanistic counseling approach, non-directive in nature, and emphasizes the client's ability to direct their own growth. A non-judgmental therapist empathically helps to actively listen with genuineness, helping to empower clients to find their own self-awareness, fulfillment, and inner strength.

Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)

Solution Focused Therapy is a brief, evidence-based psychotherapeutic approach that emphasizes finding solutions to current problems rather than hyper focusing on past experiences and issues. The foundation of this therapy is based on clients already possessing the capability to identify and implement their own solutions.

Grief Therapy (GT)

Grief therapy is a psychotherapy designed to assist people in coping with losses, often the lose of a loved one(s). Its focus is on providing a supportive and safe haven for clients to work through emotions, process the grief, and develop healthier coping mechanisms for survivors.
